Not that you&amp;#39;d ever know it by watching the news, the media is as complicit as the politicians in perpetuating this myth that politics is anything other than a spectator sport. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I would add to what you say, though, with the thought that majority control is a positive thing if the President and the majority party are in opposition. In this scenario, both parties would benefit massively from a productive outcome. For at least two years of the Clinton administration the GOP had quite a comfortable hold on Congress, and the results were very fruitful.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I think the GOP will come back strong in 2010, but in 2012 I don&amp;#39;t honestly see how anyone could challenge Obama, the candidates are just weak. I supported Romney in 2008, but the more I see of him the less I trust him. The other week he went on a rant against big Business insiders (said pot to kettle). I think that perfectly describes what is happ...</title><content type='html'>wow.&lt;br /&gt;I think that perfectly describes what is happening right now, but I just feel sick about letting the GOP back in after everything they&amp;#39;ve done. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I think the Democrats have managed to do pretty well considering this &amp;quot;small  party&amp;quot; resistance you describe, so hopefully they can keep that going. I would rather take my chances against a GOP minority than actually work with them.
